Johns Manville MinWool® Sound Attenuation Fire Batt (SAFB) insulation can help you maximize LEED® credits while keeping your clients’ project cozy and their indoors quiet from the sound-absorbing material that can improve Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings by up to 10dB. Ideal for commercial buildings, this insulation is made from inorganic fibers that originally were volcanic rocks. It’s fireproof, resistant to water, and lightweight and works great in metal-stud wall cavities, exterior walls, or in ceilings.
